The goal is to foster a lifelong love and enjoyment of music. This is done by creating an atmosphere where students are excited to return each week. One of the strongest motivations for students to continue in music over time is the enthusiastic making of music with friends!
Adults, teens, and children find music activities which involve making music with others the most enjoyable. For this reason, Encore Studio offers overlapping lessons so students get to make music and play music games with their "studiomates". Students of all ages are encouraged to get to know one another through the music games and exercises we do each week.
Participation in Celebrations, Festivals, Auditions, and locally sponsored events is encouraged. These activities are for all students!
