Fall 2025 Lesson Enrollment

Scheduling for fall will be similar to last year. Lessons will be consolidated to FOUR days a week. Because of this, I am not accepting any new students at this time - unless I have students who do not return. Since I have a long waiting list for new students, I ask for a firm commitment from returning students to register for the 2025-26 "piano year" in early summer. Lessons will not be regularly scheduled on Tuesdays.
Also, before signing up, please review: Studio-Instrument-Home Especially:
- Playing assignments at home - lessons are to ENHANCE the playing, not BE the playing!
- Student attitude and progress must be positive. If the student does not play at home, does not have a positive attitude about or at piano lessons, and is making little or no progress, piano is not the right activity for them!
What does everyone need to do?
- Sign up on the calendar on July 31 (registration)
- Send me an email if you already know what day/time you are available (or if you want to keep your day/time from 2024-25)
- Pay first tuition installment or semester/yearly payment
- Monthly tuition paid on or before August 1 will give you a $50 credit on June 2025 installment.
- Semester or yearly payments will be discounted by $100 for the year ($50 per semester).

Also, ALL students must be prepared to have at least an occasional online lesson, due to either student or teacher minor illness, scheduling conflict, or teacher travel away from studio.

Mrs. Heald was an excellent teacher. When my daughters were just starting she was so patient and kind with the little ones. My son has been taking lessons from Debra for three years. The first two years were in person and the last was online. My daughter started taking lessons this last year online. I was a little bit worried how online would go since she is only 6, but is has been great! Debra is easy to work with and my kids say that she makes learning the piano fun!

Debra Heald is amazing piano teacher. She taught all three of my kids, and I have been taking lessons from her as an adult student for several years. One of her best strengths as a teacher is figuring out ways for everyone to be successful at piano. She is extremely knowledgeable about music and theory but also has a calm teaching approach.
